Those who are on steering are writing letters to their loved ones.
Ansh Bansal was on Steering when he found the right confidence that he should study automobiles engineering in the college.
Dear Uncle
I hope you and aunty are doing well. I wanted to share this news with you that me, and the whole family have decided that I should study automobile engineering in my college.
You remember how we all had a few sleepless nights thinking of my college plans? Dad had a preference that I should study mechanical engineering—he has seen me working on the machines. Mom wanted me to study commerce or computers for a safer career path, and I was just hanging in there.
We never had the right structure to talk about it as a family. We did not have a common ground where our interests and preferences were meeting, and we actually did not try to support others’ opinions much.
We could figure it out only after I found my Steering—yes, a service who brought us together as a single unit, worked with us on our decision models, and gave us the directions.
We saw the real life market opportunities, the in-depth analysis of so many career paths within automobile engineering. Mom and dad could finally see that it is not just cars and machines—there is lot of technology intelligence to work in this industry.
In fact, the story has taken a U-turn as dad has already found a few workshops that I can attend during these holidays just to understand this industry—and so I will be in Gurugram next week, for a workshop in EV cars maintenance lifecycle. Isn’t it so interesting?
I am not fascinated only by the cars—I love making engines work, new possibilities in making cars for affordable or useful for people.
My Steering report had a few very good references—my thoughts-map, and a quadrant that will continue to show me the path for the next five years.
I hope you will like my decision, please share your thoughts by replying to this letter and not by email, text, or call. 🙏🏼
