Architecture is so vast for career options for the students
A college degree in architecture opens endless career options for the students who can specialize in different skills to follow what they love to do. For example they can get into strategy and planning, designing, architecture journalism, project engineering, lifestyle and decor, space sensemaking, compliance and policy, and so on.
Studying architecture in the college trains your mind to see the world differently—you wonder how the light shows in a corridor, how an office lobby design is a turnoff for the employees, and every sense of space tells you a story of its makers and designers.
You also experience the tension of how you could have designed it for light, air, and the navigation and accessibility. The college may not teach you everything about how to construct spaces—it teaches you to think spatially, communicate visually, and design for people and not for the budget.
As a curious learner, you can find your path for where best you can apply your learnings and skills. Here are a few career options for the students in architecture, in India.
