I started writing this letter about one hour ago but then I lost while looking up in the sky. It just made me stronger to share with you that I wand to study astronomy in the college after finishing my school.

It might not be a very exciting career track for us as a family but I have lived through this anger—of watching stars in the sky at night and not being to do when we are really stuck in life. I want to understand the cosmic influences on our life, and this is a progressive career option.

I remembered the nights when grandma told me stories about the constellations when I was a kid—about Dhruva becoming the pole star.

After she was gone, I always felt that she is part of the same cosmic vibes that make every human in this universe. 

You know how much I love my telescope, and my sticky notes wall where I build my own constellations—sometimes in the form of a question mark in different angles. 

As for the career, there are planetariums, space agencies, research agencies on drones and national security, and even the space tourism. It is so fascinating to imagine working on those projects.

All thanks to something that I found three weeks ago when my friend Parth told me about Steering. We ran through their service, and their analysis was brilliant—it just changed the direction and the momentum in our family discussions about my career—they are methodical, and very transparent in how they advise the career options. In fact they reverse engineer the career directions from my aspirations and life dreams to our family discussions.
